It’s National Stop the Bleed Month and today is Stop the Bleed Day. Victims with a massive bleeding (trauma) injury can die within 5-10 minutes.
Bystanders are usually the best people to assist since they are at the scene before first responders. Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. https://www.bleedingcontrol.org/about-bc #NSTBM19
